MISSION STATEMENT

We are committed to the Mt. Hood community and cherish its livability and natural beauty. We support the continued development of local businesses and strive to educate the surrounding area with benefits available through the Chamber.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

Continued support of task forces and alliances that keep the Chamber and our community represented and current on such issues as transportation planning, water resources, timber and land use planning. Provide opportunities for presentations and discussion forums.

Continued support of certain community projects and events that promote and enhance the tourism/hospitality industries and livability of the Mt. Hood area.

Increased support of the business community by providing a business resource center, workshops/seminars, and special advertising opportunities.

Fostering tomorrow's leaders through business mentoring programs and offering educational support programs to our local school district.

Continued funding of the Mt. Hood Information Center in partnership with the U.S.F.S. and the Clackamas County Tourism Development Council to encourage and enhance tourism to the Mt. Hood area.
